VOLKSWAGEN CRAFTER

This long-wheelbase Volkswagen Crafter (L4) served as the base for a unique camper build designed for a couple. The owner, Antek, is a passionate surfer, so we developed a dedicated surfboard mounting system in the rear garage space just for him.

The interior layout is quite distinctive — behind the driver’s seat is a large, fully equipped kitchen, followed by a spacious shower unit. On the opposite side, we installed two comfortable seats with a folding table. We also added smart shelving on the shower wall, accessible directly from the bed area. The bed itself is massive — measuring 2m x 1.95m — with a large storage
compartment underneath, including two pull-out drawers.

The kitchen features an additional slide-out countertop on rails, creating a home-like cooking experience. Thanks to the extra length of the L4 Crafter, we were able to preserve a sense of openness and add ample storage throughout the van.

The cabinetry was built using lightweight exotic plywood and premium-finished poplar plywood with natural veneers. The interior feels warm and elegant, with premium finishes and a beautiful
slatted ceiling adding a cozy, stylish touch.

On the roof, we built a custom platform finished with perforated metal sheeting. It includes a slide-out beam system for hanging Brazilian hammocks — the perfect setup for outdoor relaxation.
